I can't speak for Bucky, but..as I've told you before, I'm a realist. I find that I'm strongly compelled to appeal to objective facts of a matter when making moral statements. This is why it doesn't matter to me what some god says, or even whether a god exists. You'll hear a ton of different moral underpinning from the people on the boards. This is because there are multiple ways to arrive at a private morality or public ethic. Even if a god existed, it would only be one voice in a sea of voices - and we would still have to answer the moral questions ourselves before we could determine whether the god was morally correct - or merely existent and mouthy.

Your example, above. You think it's wrong to do that. Why? Does this apply to jehovahs witnesses? Does it apply to nominal christians? Are there exceptions, where you would concede that a person really does want to bring people to jesus..but for other reasons entirely, are still not christian?
