Are we allowed to say that out loud? If so, I agree.

I love much of Macca's stuff with the Beatles, but his solo career was tragically awful.

Radio celebrates favored fashion over the brilliant proficiency of artistic flair.
That's why I have my music library on Spotify, no commercials and the music I love to listen too.

Admiral Halsey/Uncle Albert, 1985, Jet and Helen Wheels were okay. I like Live and Let Die and Listen to What the Man Said. Silly Love Songs and Let 'Em In aren't great, but it brings back memories of a time before radio stations got stovepiped into narrow genres.

It's just so ... inane. I hate his lyrics, and his music is so saccharine.

I like plenty of McCartney's music. I'm reminded of how a friend used to argue that AC/DC's music was bad because it was simple. If you need music to check certain boxes then some will not fit.

That said, if I hear Hocus Pocus by Focus I'll flip it to I (Heart) Maria Carey if that's what it takes to stop the pain.

I like what I like, and dislike what I dislike, and not for the same reasons -- those vary from artist to artist. *shrug*

It’s clear as rainwater that the wrong two Beatles died first.
