Thanks for your learned comments. Theists are invited to this forum. Perhaps you are on the wrong one.
I’m just saying God created the world. What is your view? Did the universe just happen from nothing? Is that evidence based?
The burden of proof is not just on me.
Educate me. Tell me.
God Bless Barry
You can say anything you want. You have to provide evidence. You have failed. Totally.
You are responsible for your education, and if you are really a grandfather, you're about 50 years behind.
What have you done to educate YOURSELF ?
So far, all you have done is repeat the oft repeated fallacy of the "argument from personal incredulity".
It's a fail. Total fail.
Is this the best you can do ?
You are dismissed.
Buh bye.
You're still here ? I thought you were going to watch basketball ?

Ephesians 2 : 8-9. You should read your Bible once in a while.
Hi Bucky Ball, I was going to watch an 8am Basketball (not Bucky ball) match, then 2 netball matches from 9am to 10:30am, then 12:10pm basketball and 1:50 pm basketball match, 5 different grandkids at 4 different venues. But the first grandkid is sick, I passed on the netball. Yes you got me, my pants are on fire. That’s the only argument you have one.
It’s 10:30 am, I’m leaving at 11:30 am, dropping off some prescriptions for two grandkids at pharmacy.
I have an Arts Degree majoring in Latin, Greek, with pure maths and Greek thrown in. I study religion every day.
But we don’t need theology and a whole lot of study to believe in God. As you quoted, Faith is a gift from God. Which we are free to accept or not.
I’d love to hear your evidence for the universe popping randomly into existence. It’s not just me who has to prove anything.
If you don’t know and I say I do, that’s fine, I respect that. And I could be wrong, but that would be depressing.
So I’ll have my shower now, and venture into the world created by God.
I’ll let you know the scores.
God Bless
Barry

God is the explanation.
An explanation looks like this:
"As the universe decreased in density and temperature, the unified gauge symmetry at the Planck scale was broken spontaneously into a sequence of different forces. First quantum chromodynamics peeled off, then electroweak became two separate fields. Disturbances appeared in the electromagnetic field and there was light."
To have this instead is no explanation at all:
"God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

We ARE NOT "free" to accept anything if we truly don't believe, which is why YOUR cult's Catechism says we are saved anyway, if we honestly don't believe.
You should study Catholicism.
Jesus said "judge not, lest you are judged". YOU cannot judge anyone.
I have made no claim. I don't have to prove anything. I don't have to accept Any OF YOUR ASSUMPTIONS OR PREMISES.
You know how many infants died of cancer this morning ?
YOU have to prove there is a god, and why all those babies died.
Shove your scores up your ass.

Creation ex nihilo assumes nihilo. No atheist assumes that. You gotta demonstrate that first.

Your explanation begins with the universe already existing.

I have ten that says you just earned your way onto the Bel Ignore List. If you weren't already there, that is.

And atheists do not have to prove the initial state of the universe was nothing because that is not a position that we take.

If you actually think that one is really "free" to accept that which one does not really believe in,
then "intellectual dishonestly" is beyond your scope, and you can get lost. Idiot.
No wonder your cult is so full of dishonesty and pedophiles.
