I agree with LG's larger point. As a nation, we need to commit to developing younger leaders and fresh turnover, imo. Both major parties should be cultivating tomorrow's leaders. Instead, we have party elders refusing to turn over the reins of leadership.

Only primaries really matter for house and senate and incumbents rarely lose. Term limits could be the answer but the status quo won't let that happen.
