I was in high school when "Tora, Tora, Tora" finally made it to our old theater. I went 'cause there was nothing else to do. They showed reel one. Then they showed reel two. By then I had already been in the theater longer than I ever had for a single movie. Then the projectionist put in reel one again. I was done then. Have never seen the whole movie.

It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
