Is that why everyone here is moping around like a sad sack?
We decided to stay south of the blizzard. Headed to Denver from here.

I can finally listen to the radio again and not hear Christmas songs by Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Wham, Cliff Richard, the insipid Pogues, or anyone else!
Bliss!
I'd rather listen to gangster rap or Nirvana (cringe).

Mariah points a claw at another victim: ‘All I want for Christmas is…YOU!’ We look away. Eventually, the screaming stops and is replaced by the sound of crunching bones. We can rest easy - the Mariah has fed.

Trying to fight through a miserable headache. Woke up with it this morning. It eased off a bit for a couple of hours then kicked into high gear again. UGH! Messaged my doctor for a refill on the meds I take when it gets bad.

Been sick for several days. Fortunately, it's just a cold. I still have a bit of the sniffles, but I'm much better. Talked to my sisters Tuesday and we've moved opening presents to the 13th/14th.

Just ordered a new purse and wallet. I am not one of those women who changes purses...I use one till it's worn out then grudgingly look for a replacement. The wallet I have worn out - I think I have been using it for at least a decade. My splurge on me for this holiday season. It will also force me to get rid of stuff I really don't need any more that have been in the wallet and purse for years.

My wife got me a new billfold for x-mas. Like you, mine was over 10yrs old. I'm hoping this new one will keep my spending down, it's so stiff that it's hard to get the cards out.

Blue is at the front window growling. I am pretty sure it's the first time in ten years I have heard him do that. He is more of a talky cat.
I look and he is staring out the window at a black and white cat that is about the same size and is staring in at Blue. Blue's tail is fluffed to a size I have never seen before...he's pissed.
