Just finished a week long business trip to Miles City. MT. Rented a Tesla Model Y through Turo for the trip. Tesla's are fun to drive, but I would never buy one. The interior is more reminiscent of an apple store than a car, especially with the infotainment system kludged onto the dash, looking like a forgotten iPad, instead of being incorporated into it. They accelerate like a bat out of hell, and the driver assist features are helpful without being overbearing, but the majority of the car's controls (lights, windshield wipers, etc...) are two or three levels deep in the infotainment system's menus. All in all, not a bad car, more a poorly implemented idea for a car.

Working on finishing a jewelry chest a friend wanted me to "help" build. About the only work he has done on it is sanding the wood.

Just finished laying out another quilt top. Going to do a few more sewing things while I finish the book I am nearly done with and then going to plop down on the couch and maybe take a late nap.
Firmed up the time we are to be at Jenny's tomorrow. Thought that was an important piece of info so I can make sure the mac and cheese I am making is done.
I'm your huckleberry.

Cut up all the meat, onion and peppers then slapped them into the marinade for tomorrow.

It's supposed to be the dry season.
As it turns out, even though the two nearest rivers were running muddy, the dive site was far enough from both to be unaffected - the visibility was as good as it gets here and the water was unseasonably warm (27C down to 15 meters). Lots of sea turtles, a few eagle rays, and a rare signting of a shoal of devil rays. I was diving with students today, which usually isn't ideal, but these particular noobs were good.
