^ Won't be impeached = it's OK and won't go to trial, by a lot of republican's beliefs. Could spread the threat to other malcontents, but he'd have to claim he's the king when his term is up. I'd put money on a republican president trying this in the future.
That is what Project 2025 is all about. It does not matter if the Orange One fails to regain the White House, Republicans will be ready for a takeover no matter who their future candidate is.
