The real tragedy is that if the pro blue media™ actually did lie their asses off and cover their guy...like the pro red media claims they do as an explanation for their own behavior..then we would only hear about the pro red media in history class.
In mere reality, the corporatist press eviscerates democrats and normalizes magats. You can tell exactly what sort of news a person is consuming by how they relate the different myths of the american media landscape in politics.

The pro-blue media doesn't seem to need to have lied. It seems to me that the coterie of aides and assistants have shielded him a bit. Not much time on the campaign trail, requiring interviewers to accede to questions beforehand ... whether that's intended to hide Biden's senescence or a natural defensiveness by a campaign under pressure, it's a bad look either way. Once again, I’d point out that the bigger issue with the Democratic Party isn’t that Biden’s an old-ass man. It’s that other, even bigger issues with Trump are coming up and we’re still focusing on that.
At least word’s getting out in the mainstream media about Project 2025, but they’re depressingly silent about the fact that Trump’s connections with Jeffrey Epstein are coming into further clarity. “… B-but Bill Clint-” Bill Clinton’s not running for office anymore. Hell, he’s had his Two terms in the 1990s, and the 22nd Amendment says he can’t do a third. Plus, unlike Clinton, Trump actually has Epstein-related rape accusations.

If they're trying to hide that...and I'm sure they would if they could..they're not doing a very good job. None of this was discovered this month, this year, or even this decade. What tickles me, as an outsider to this, is that his being an old white guy was very much intentional. Fuckin required..apparently, in order to draw away some of those persuadable trump voters.

If the USSR had had a Red Communist party and a Blue Communist party, the communists would still be in power. Because whenever things went wrong one team could just point to the other team, and they'd switch every few years, and nothing would change.
With a Blue Military Industrial Complex party and a Red Military Industrial Complex party, the US can only switch back and forth every few years. If we point to Biden's obvious cognitive decline, his dishonesty, his corruption, and his warmongering, his supporters just point and say "But Trump!!!" When what we really need from the Democrats is that they give us someone who isn't in cognitive decline, isn't dishonest, isn't corrupt, and isn't a warmonger. In other words, someone who would be popular for his own sake, and not only in contrast to someone only slightly more horrible. |
