Narcissistic Personality Disorder - my diagnosis.

I have recently been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. My psychiatrist told me that in his professional opinion I have the disorder. My question is, has anybody else here ever been diagnosed with NPD? Or just me?

I may well be narcissistic but not sure it's a disorder!

The label gets thrown around a lot. Like any psychiatric diagnosis, narcissism will have a range of symptoms and presentations. One person's narcissism can be completely different from another's.
I'd ask your doc to be specific about what he/she means and what led him to his/her conclusion.
