My wife is watching every bit of the DNC bidness. I don't need the screaming and hype to convince my vote. Some great speeches have come out of there, though. Elevator versions of Barack's and Michelle's speeches have amused me greatly.

Well, if you keep playing baseball while doing coke, I'm not surprised at least one ear is stuffed.

It's air show weekend coming up, the frequent jet noise is loud enough to interrupt conversations/TV. We can watch it all from our deck. The practice flights will start tomorrow, maybe later this afternoon.

Got to watch an octopus boxing a damselish this morning. I don't blame it, the fish was being a bit of an asshole.

Ordering a 5 qt saute pan. I did some more reading on the 3 qt, and what is delivered isn't what is advertised. For a few dollars less, I got a well-reviewed saute pan with an aluminum lid from Amazon warehouse. I've got a cheap stainless steel jumbo cooker from Aldi, but I wouldn't put that in my oven for love nor money. The pan I ordered is good to 500 F. My enameled cast-iron skillet is good to 450 F, so I'll use that for tomorrow's chicken dish.

Just got news that I get to have my left eye cut up. Cataract surgery. I am NOT OK with this.
