Knocking off early for the day. I slept little last night and I need to take Chewy's body to the pet crematorium. Geez, I hate this so much. We got talking about it this morning, she's been around nearly half my life and over half of my husband's. Then comes the job of taking her things out of her cage and figuring out what to do with it. Also hoping that our little parrot doesn't grieve too much. Their cages were about two feet apart and they have been together the whole time...we got Zeus a few months before we got Chewy.

It's so damn quiet in the house. I don't know if I will ever get used to that.
