At least I got a refund for it. And I bought the new Blu-Ray of Orson Welles' version of The Scottish Play. I think, in time, you should pass along the mystery to someone else. Maybe jazz it up a little more than a hollowed out book.

Putting on my pot roast. I like my slow cooker but I wish it were slightly bigger. There's an 8.5-quart one that I've had my eye on, but I don't slow cook that much.
Amazon sent my new braiser / saute pan by USPS. That's going to be a tight fit in the mailbox.

Cancelling my reservations. I guess my trip is off or at least postponed. The doctor and his PA have switched up my medications so often since the end of July that my body doesn't know what to do. One of the meds has side effects that include drowsiness and insomnia. That's a dandy combination. When you feel like you are slogging through quicksand in order to function and then lay down to sleep and can't. I have to decide what's worse the illness or the crap the meds cause.
Hoping to feel better soon so I can redo the plan. Am saving all the maps and reservation info so I can just duplicate it later in the year or in the spring.

Got a statement today from the anesthesiologist for the procedure I had done the end of July. My part was about 80.00 and I thought I had already paid it: I had. Called to be sure and found out that after there is a $400.00 plus check on the way to me because the facility and doctor overcharged me. That's good news.
