In fairness to Google, denying a Presidential directive can cause you significant problems, especially when the President in question is known to be a vindictive cunt.

Before this a person MIGHT have been able to believe the fantasy that Israel is protecting itself from terrorists. But it's way past that point now.

Since then they have extended their murder and looting to Syria and Lebanon, where they ignore deadlines and cease-fires. It's not a defense against terrorism to invade a well-known pianist's home, steal her antique carpets, and destroy her grand piano.

Netanyahu makes Putin look like Mr. Rogers.

Any excuse that Israel could have made was thrown into rubbish bin when quoted words were uttered:

The International Court of Justice has found it is "plausible" that Israel has committed acts that violate the Genocide Convention. In a provisional order delivered by the court's president, Joan Donoghue, the court said Israel must ensure "with immediate effect" that its forces not commit any of the acts prohibited by the convention.

If ICJ finds it to be plausible that country is committing genocide then it should be clear that country is not only defending itself.

American Airlines regional passenger jet with 64 people on board and a US Army Black Hawk helicopter collided and crashed into the frigid Potomac River. The Pentagon says it will launch an investigation.

What's more likely - ATC fucked up, or one or both pilots failed to follow ATC instructions?

Does anyone trust the tranparency of the process?

It’s being reported that ATC told the chopper they were on a collision course with the plane. The copter pilot said he had the plane in sight, but he wasn’t looking at the right plane.

Yes, of course. That might even be the truth, hence my second question.

My suspicion is that the chopper crew being on a training flight, NVG may have hampered visibility.

Transparency will presumably come with the AIB report, in six months or a year. There's no way they'll identify a cause right now, given the nighttime visibility and unclear ATC radio traffic.
