Transparency will presumably come with the AIB report, in six months or a year. There's no way they'll identify a cause right now, given the nighttime visibility and unclear ATC radio traffic.

Trump blames diversity policies after air tragedy
"We do not know what led to this crash, but we have some very strong opinions and ideas," he said.
He then speculated that lowered standards of hiring for air traffic controllers in the Federal Aviation Administration during the Joe Biden and Barack Obama presidencies may have been a factor in the disaster.
Asked by a reporter how he could blame diversity programmes for the crash when the investigation had only just begun, the president responded: "Because I have common sense."

Judge Amit Mehta has issued a court order that Oath 'Keeper' Stewart Rhodes and several associates are prohibited from entering Washington, DC without first obtaining permission from the court.

It is a metaphysical certainty that we'll be hearing more about this. A LOT more.

Quote:The chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is launching an investigation into NPR and PBS over their alleged “airing of commercials.”

“I am concerned that NPR and PBS broadcasts could be violating federal law by airing
commercials,” FCC Chair Brendan Carr wrote to the news outlets in a letter first obtained by The New York Times. “In particular, it is possible that NPR and PBS member stations are broadcasting underwriting announcements that cross the line into prohibited commercial advertisements.”

[...]

“This appears to be yet another Administration effort to weaponize the power of the FCC,” agency Commissioner Anna M. Gomez said in a post on the social platform X linking to the Times’ report. “The FCC has no business intimidating and silencing broadcast media.”

He is right. DEI is responsible for the very observable decline in quality of services around the country. Qualification and merit has to always take precedence over some deluded concept of racial equity. In practice, DEI hasn't even empowered blacks but it has imposed LGBT upon people, forcing businesses to hire them despite most people's moral objections to those things

Most peoples objections? Why would a persons sexual preferences have ANY effect on me?
