Frankly, at this point, if Britain were to take us back, we might as well just go full colony again. A nation that can have several years to think about it and still think Trump is not only a good option, but get enough support to actually win, clearly cannot be trusted to govern itself.

Hell, at this point, I'd run for president on the sole platform of "King Charles, Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn't mean it, I just want you back for good."

It'll never happen, but I'd adore seeing the chump kneel before the English King.

I don't think it would happen either, but if freedom of movement within the Commonwealth with the possibility of citizenship were part of the deal, I could be talked into it.

Not IMHO. Of course, I'm biased. Every time I click on NBCNews, I have this fantasy that I'll see this huge headline proclaiming Trump was found dead in his presidential pig stye in the Whitehouse and that an industrial disinfectant contractor is cleaning out the space in the hope that the Whitehouse as a whole need not be burned down in the interest of public health.
