The source is in the quote, though I can see why you'd like to quickly dismiss this with handwaving, given it challenges another handy factoid you seem to have made up on the spot. Would you like some more sources that suggest your rhetoric was hastily made up hubris?

The British Psychology Society

You might want to read the whole article, but here is a snippet:

"scholars cite statistical artefacts to argue that the Dunning-Kruger effect is not real. But they fail to notice that the pattern of self-misjudgements remains regardless of what may be producing it. Thus, the effect is still real; the quarrel is merely over what produces it."

Oh and lets refresh ourselves of your exact claim, as we know how fractious and mendacious you get, when some of your more comedic outbursts are challenged, wouldn't want you denying it later on.

Quote:John 6IX Breezy

most people with a psychology degree know the dunning-kruger effect doesn't exist.
When will you be offering anything to support this beyond a bare claim, no need to answer, I think by now we all know the answer. One assumes you must have polled a substantial test group of that demographic, in order to make such a sweeping assertion, or else you'd look an utter fool...

I'm not sure what's worse, him using AI as a reference or you not being able to spot it.

Or you using it as an excuse to ignore the content, and the source of the content, as that content reliably shows you just stepped on your own dick again, with your grandiose posturing, but made a claim that is factually incorrect. A claim you offered without anything to support it as well, though of course this typifies your spiel.

Don't mind me just leaving this here.

It's bizarre how often John knows, what "most people" from multiple, and very large demographics know and think, without any recourse to evidence of any kind. If one were cynical, one might be forgiven for thinking he is bullshitting, and making up things on the spot. Like he did when he claimed he had falsified the scientific theory of evolution.

If he is true to form, then he will either double down with bare denial, or move along unabashed onto his next unevidenced assertions.

The real comedy for me, was when he claimed to know how everyone else's mind works, as if his doesn't work in the same way, but more ironically, when he made the fallacious leap from knowing how the human mind works, (more accurately, having learned some broad facts about how people reason), to knowing specifically what individuals or groups think, I guess he is never going to address that false equivalence either.

At what point will he offer anything to explain why he believes the Jesus in the gospel myths, is a deity?

You missed my question in all the excitement:

Quote:Explain with objective evidence, not creationist canards denying reliable dating techniques, why the entire scientific world, is wrong about the age of the earth?
Do take your time...then explain how a young earth evidences a deity of any kind, or indeed how anything evidences any deity, of any kind, again take all the time you want.

Yeah, the source being IN the quote was one of several red flags. You seem to be posting fraudulent citations.

Right; because most people with a psychology degree know the dunning-kruger effect doesn't exist.

I have a psychology degree and it does seem to be real, although the popular explanation for it hasn't been verified with rigor, IMHO.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
