But he wasn’t diagnosed pre-election. If US political parties are going to encourage presidents to step down based on future health outcomes, there’s no point in having a president at all.

People were right to urge Biden to withdraw from the race, but it had nothing to do with his cancer.

I think a lot of people are missing some key words in the diagnosis - mainly - aggressive. The type of cancer he's been diagnosed with is exactly that...it's aggressive and not slow-growing.

With cancer, one day you don't have it and the next you might...and it might be moving quickly through your body. Or...it might be quietly sitting there and will take some time to metastasize if not removed and/or treating.

And it's not the same for everyone.

Here I am at 15 years after being told I probably had three. It's a crap shoot.

After years of right wing rule Poles decided that enough is enough... Just kidding. In second turn of presidential elections there will be two clownish, right wing candidates affiliated with main parties. I guess people here just enjoy being fucked over.

I’ve read that Biden’s cancer - even at an aggressive stage 5 - had a good survival rate for someone his age.

But let’s face it - he’s 82. He’s got more years behind him than ahead of him.

Not really. Both of them are (at best) neoliberals flirting with far right. Fact that other one is more far right does not make first one worthy of being given vote especially when his actions further normalized far right.
