First, you create the crisis, then you take credit for solving it. Someone in Trump’s circle (not Trump) understands that security clamp-downs tend to exacerbate the original problem. They want this to spread.

Aside from having enough dirt on every board member of every large international bank and also on Mohammad bin Salman ibn Saud, I don't see where he can garner enough protection. His assets are already over-leveraged as is.
