1) Kimmel showed that Trump loves his latest vanity project more than he loves Charlie Kirk.
2) Trump gets butt hurt over these facts.
3) Trump tells Carr to lean on the network.
4) Carr, ever loyal, does so by telling the network to fire Kimmel or he won’t approve the deal.
5) Trump completes the circle-jerk by telling the press that Kimmel was fired because of low ratings.

I thought that was implied - it was a reply to Bel, after all.

And they say that the lefties are mean to Kirk, I mean just look at this painting:
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Maybe that was from when he went to the Alamo to look for his bicycle.

Lord almighty it's like killing him second time.

Weird how Roseanne got fired when the Obamas complained and Trump was president.

OK, so the directors of these companies have the choice to
1) get approval for a multi-billion dollar deal and make huge profits, or
2) keep a not-very-popular comedian on the air.
And you think that 2) is the wise business choice.
The FCC shouldn't have been involved in this. I have no problem with hirings or firings for business reasons sans government intimidation against the spirit of the First Amendment.

Mamdani pulls planned ABC town hall event after network suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s show
Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani announced Monday that he is cancelling a televised town hall with WABC News planned for Sept. 25 in the wake of the network suspending comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show last week, amNewYork first learned.
“ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel off the air after the FCC sought to pressure them,” Mamdani said on Monday. “The message that it sends to each and every American across this country is a message the First Amendment is no longer a right that can be counted on, but rather that it is government which will determine what should and should not be discussed, what can and cannot be spoken. And we cannot normalize these kinds of acts nor offenses. These must be the basis upon which we act.”

It seems the $US billion lawsuit worked.
Kimmel will be back on air soon.
Hopefully, Trump will have a heart attack when he throws his ketchup against the wall about it.
