Uncut Gems (2019). I avoided this movie like a plague because it stars Adam Sandler, but because it gets referenced frequently in popular culture I decided to see it. And it's another very well made movie about characters I really don't care about at all, so I kept watching the movie because it is impressive audio-visually, but still, I endured to about the half of the movie or less because it's over 2 hours long.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
