So, apparently she used it to beat a rat to death and didn't have time to wash the hammer, so she stuck it in the deepfreeze to sterilize it.
That's me gal.

I have questions...first - don't you have cats? They need to step it up a bit so your lady doesn't have to bludgeon vermin.

The cats stay indoors, the rat was outdoors. She saw in near the smithy on her way out and got the hammer nearest the door.

Our issue with mice/field rats was solved when the neighbors moved in a couple years ago with two inside/outside cats. The male, Loki, really likes our front porch and we are okay with that as the unwanted critter population is under control.

Enjoying holding my employer's feet to the fire. I've informed them I'm retiring on May 15th, now they're scrambling to come up with some kind of incentive to keep me, with the caveat that I have to remain in the USA.
I seriously doubt they're willing to offer anything that will even come close to overcoming that last bit.

I was offered $200 per hour to consult by one of the management when I was retiring. I said that I'd do it if I could telecommute. I was sorely tempted, but I knew that I'd not be getting that kind of money, anyway. Most of those people could autofellate, as far as I am concerned.

Last month, I ordered a soft on the outside, hard on the inside case for A-Poc from AliExpress. Today, it finally arrived.
At this point, the only problem I’ve found is that it seems like the strap I’ve been using with it is too wide and too inflexible to fit inside.

I was going to suggest warfarin and coarsely rolled oats with some powdered sugar. It’s worked wonders for Alberta.

My missus prefers a more direct approach. She obliterated a ferret a couple of years ago.
Honestly, though, we don't have a rodent problem as such. Just an occasional sighting.

Dropped $75 on a new SSD for the gaming PC. I'm a little over budget for March, but I'm basically a month ahead on payments, so, no worries.
