My comments are based on what science is revealing about our reality not a defense of how or why people believe what they do. It is an observation of human behavior and the inevitable reality that these things will come to pass one way or another. Only those that can see America's imminent collapse coming will be able to position themselves to survive or benefit off this inevitability in the same way on those that can see that the things religious folk talk about are obvious inevitabilities that only those wise enough to see them coming will have an impact on how they come into being and have an actual say in the matter. Everyone else will just look on with shock and horror at being left out.

It's not a great analogy, though. One is about readiness for the hypothetical collapse of a country due to some very visible factors.  The other is hysterics about Bronze Age boogyman stories.

I do hope there is at least one genuine human being here that is capable of objectively engaging scientific and philosophical ideas. So far it feels as though only bots meant to shut down conversation have been commenting here.

I very much understand what a bot is and comparing the people posting to bots is not a misuse or misunderstanding. Human are quantum manifesting biological machines with great potential. But most people operate on repeating loops giving rise to the NPC theory. And so far it seems that this forum is full of bots, albiet bots inside a meatbag body. As far as caring, the forums stated existence is for such topics and therefore the nihilistic bot behavior runs counter to the purpose of the forum and the thread which any simple minded human would recognize and if they had no interest would have simply not shown up which lends to the behavior of derailing to be a deliberate action taken without any thought as to why. Therefore, bots. And it is not me that must inform you why you should care, but rather you all should inform why you care enough to even be here instead of pretending that you don't have a vested interest and an ulterior motive for being here.

It is not I who is interested or responsible for enlightening you, that is your own choice. This forum's expressed purpose for existing is for conversation, but it seems blowhards have turned it into a place to rant about hating dialogue, discussion, and enlightenment.
