Whole Foods is discontinuing some pasta sauce including the roasted garlic that I like. I haz a sad.

Looks like we’ll be out of the house for 7-10 days while the electrics are seen to. Time to book a place and arrange boarding for the cats.

Finding some needed items at a grocery store I rarely frequent. It's a long bus trip, but I only need to do it every once in a while. Shame it's so far so I can't buy cold items.

I slept in and had some long ChatGPT sessions today, so I'm running behind. I need to setup my meds for later.

Listening to Spotify. It's a lot cheaper with ads than Amazon Music Unlimited.

So, I think I mentioned I go to every bookstore when Dad and I go to Door County. While I haven’t been able to go to the one that’s closing down yet (it’s apparently only opening up on weekends, and sometimes not even then, but it looks like it will open up the day before we go back down), I did go to the two in Sturgeon Bay and one in Egg Harbor. One is this combination new and used books with some comics. I did not find anything I wanted to buy, and at one point, the owner wheeled in to the room I was in and asked me what I wanted. My head was going in Multiple directions, and I’m just looking for something that strikes my fancy (one option was going for one of the bizarrely specific rare books Philip Marlowe mentioned in that one scene in The Big Sleep, or even a first edition of Gravity’s Rainbow), but I just told him I wanted some space.

Moving my primary NAS to the workbench. It weighs a literal ton. I need to do some updating of the innards and doing it in-place is not wise.

Found a short-term rental cottage that’ll let us move our cats in with us. At $NZ80/night, it’s a helluva deal. We paid the cleaning deposit, plus two weeks upfront, got a written guarantee that if we’re there less than two weeks, they’ll refund the balance.

It’s nice when things work out.

The rain was supposed to clear out by noon, but it looks like we'll have some afternoon showers. I guess I won't go to Burger Thing for Whopper Wednesday.

Everything computer is getting so expensive. A stick of server RAM was $15 last year. I just spent $50 on two sticks of RAM. *sigh*
