He was in the movie, but his scenes are only in the Director’s Cut (they were removed from the theatrical release).

The Prequel Nobody Asked For
Good choice for the lead, though.

Here are some of the upcoming autobiographies by movie and TV stars. Which ones are you most interested in?
Sitcom: A Memoir by Chuck Lorre
In My Own Time: A Memoir by Christopher Lloyd
One Helluva Ride by Michael Douglas
Take My Word for It: A Memoir by LeVar Burton
Look at Me by Dustin Hoffman
The Steps: A Memoir by Sylvester Stallone
Is It Too Late to Make a Run for It? by Judi Dench
Never Say Die: A Memoir by Ke Huy Quan
Fictional Selves: A Memoir by Kyle MacLachlan
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Just queued for it.
Look at Me by Dustin Hoffman
I'll probably grab this one shortly after it lands.
Is It Too Late to Make a Run for It? by Judi Dench
Another I'll likely grab pretty quickly after it lands
One Helluva Ride by Michael Douglas
Maybe, sometime.
Take My Word for It: A Memoir by LeVar Burton
Again, maybe, sometime.
The rest... Meh, but especially... Stallone?!? Fuck that shit!

I’ve never been able to muster up much enthusiasm for show biz autobiographies but gun to my head, I’d probably pick the LeVar Burton one.

Jon Watts is set to direct ‘STAR WARS: EPISODE 10’. (Watts is a director behind the new Spiderman movies)
The film is intended to be the beginning of a new trilogy in the Skywalker Saga. source
Are you excited?
I think I can already see the plot: Rey Skywalker has gone into exile. The new new empire has risen. The mysterious masked sith lord is the son of Finn and somehow Palpatine returned again. Time for the new orphan on a desert planet to fix all this.

I've heard rumblings that Disney may de-canonize the sequel trilogy and start over. If that happens, this could be Episode 7, where Rey has gone into exile, etc...

Oh, how convenient that one of the first major projects to get the chop is the one helmed by the guy Trump and the Ellisons (allegedly) had a major hand in getting booted off the air.
Quote:New Lord of the Rings Film Paused During Paramount's $111B Warner Bros. Merger
Warner Bros. is about to disappear under the new label name Skydance after the upcoming Paramount Skydance mega-merger next week. While that has been largely criticized by the entertainment industry, the mega-merger is happening, and several projects, including a The Lord of the Rings movie, are being put on pause.
The Lord of the Rings universe is still thriving, with the next installment, The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, currently in production. Aside from The Hunt for Gollum, Warner Bros. confirmed another Lord of the Rings movie, with the working title Shadow of the Past, which comes from longtime Lord of the Rings fan and host Stephen Colbert. As per Knight Edge Media, Colbert's Shadow of the Past story has been paused post-merger.
Warner Bros. confirmed the new film on Tolkien Day. The late-night host, who wrapped his time on The Late Show, confirmed that he's writing the film with his son, screenwriter Peter McGee.
The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past was rumored to start filming not long after The Hunt for Gollum ends, which is expected to wrap production in October. However, with the mega-merger almost complete, the outlet notes, "the film hasn’t been fully canceled, but it has hit major development speed bumps." It adds Colbert "may still work on drafts, but filming isn’t expected anytime soon," as the new company doesn't see the fantasy franchise "as profitable as it once it" and would prefer to see how The Hunt for Gollum performs "before greenlighting more projects."
The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum premieres in theaters on Dec. 17, 2027.

Jeremy Allen White Says He’d Play Gene Wilder in a Biopic If Asked: ‘I Need the Call’
The Social Reckoning star, 35, addressed the conversation surrounding the upcoming biopic covering the life of acclaimed actor Wilder during an interview on the Today show on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
After noting the physical similarities between White and Wilder, Craig Melvin asked The Bear star if he’d be willing to take on the role.
“Absolutely, it would be my honor,” White replied. “Young Frankenstein is one of my earliest film memories. Blazing Saddles, he’s a genius. It would be an honor. He was a genius. It would be an honor. Yeah, I love him. I’ve always loved him.”
White added, “I need the call,” when it comes to casting.
However, co-host Savannah Guthrie seemed to question whether that call hadn’t already been made.
“I feel like he maybe already has that role,” Guthrie said. “Jeremy Allen White, do you already have the Willy Wonka role?”
White looked surprised, replying, “Do I already have it? No! No, no, no,” but added, “We’ll see, we’re manifesting it.”
In June, Deadline announced that director Dito Montiel had been tapped to direct the biopic after securing the life rights from Wilder’s estate after his 2016 death.
White’s name has frequently been referenced in relation to the biopic due to his shocking similarity to Wilder.
