Would you give up a guaranteed place in heaven to save the souls of a 1000 atheists?
If you say no then you would not be judged or punished and be allowed into heaven anyway.
The question has no worth, Jesus says, what does it profit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his soul. The way I see it 1000 atheist do not equal the world, so I say no. There are many more examples of why a christian can not make that decision.
Your reply is proof positive that Christianity is nothing more than an egotistical, murderous cult that should be banned on the entire planet.
You must be a socialist.
You say that as if it would be a bad thing.
If you do not like your freedom, I guess it's OK. As for me I like to have choices.

If by socialist you mean one who is able to recognize the vile hatred inherent in your statement, then yes.
No it's your vile statement that caused me to think you could be a socialist, it fits with socialistic thought.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

It's part of the script Cinjin. Don't you remember that image of the tree?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

GC, maybe you shouldn't toss around terms like 'socialist' until you really learn what they actually mean.

Socialist means "not a christian"-
Socialist means "disagrees with me"-
Socialist means "I don't have anything to respond with so fuck you, asshole"-

Reread the statements, get your facts straight, if that's possible.

I know the different parts of socialism and being a socialist, and Phil's statement fits.

Quote:China and Russia are socialist nations,
You REALLY don't have fucking clue,do you.
The soviet union ended was dissolved in december 1991. It had been a totalitarian dictatorship since 1917. Today Russia is run economically as laissez faire capitalism, but controlled by former-KGB thugs. (such as Putin)
China is not now and has never been a socialist state. Politically it remains a totalitarian dictatorship with SOME socialist aspects. However, today it lacks THE major criterium for a socialist state: Collective ownership of the means of production.
Quote:Socialism /ˈsoʊʃəlɪzəm/ is an economic system characterised by social ownership and control of the means of production and cooperative management of the economy,[1] and a political philosophy advocating such a system. "Social ownership" may refer to any one of, or a combination of, the following: cooperative enterprises, common ownership, direct public ownership or autonomous state enterprises.[2] There are many variations of socialism and as such there is no single definition encapsulating all of socialism.[3] They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets versus planning, how management is to be organised within economic enterprises, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.[4]

What a sublimely stupid thing to say:
Australia has free speech, the US has the first amendment. That means we are free to criticise our own country and any other. You don't like that? What can I say except go fuck yourself you fascist prick.

I assume you're referring to his statement about banning your religion which is decidedly not what socialism is about.

As I said G-C...small s socialism is caring for the vulnerable in ones society and as such xtianity IS SUPPOSEDLY SOCIALISTIC.
You numb nut!! You are advocating that your own religion be banned?? Is not caring for the poor and disenfranchised of concern to you or are you one of these tin pot "pretend christians" that mouth the words but are of no substance?? The poor are fine as long as YOU don't have to do anything about it?? Is this what YOUR religion is all about??
I thought better of you .... but obviously you are a very BAD example of the religion you strive so hard to promote...
