I was to understand that IP addresses are very EASY to find...it's called ping? Get them all the time from my Internet Security message board. Passwords...now THAT is interesting.
You do KNOW Anarch..that Tiberius has recently come under hacker attack?? He just MIGHT know what he is talking about (4 years of study had NOthing to do with it...  arcasm: )

What was funny, is that he listed his private network address not his public IP.

You don't understand the difference. That's okay, no harm in not knowing something.
But understand, that if you do know the difference. What you posted WAS funny.
EDIT: Just to clarify, you connected to the Hub which allocated your computer with that IP on the local network. Other items in your house connected to the same router may be 192.168.0.25 etc. Your router itself will probably be allocated the address 192.168.0.1.

No, you clearly don't get it. I guess you were just too simple.
It's an old trick to drop your Firewall and goad a hacker, and then set up an IP trace for when you get hacked. I assumed you were smart enough to at least try that silly trick, but I guess not.

When I type in my IP into I.E, I get my Internet setup window. It's password protected of course, but Tiberius has already said he can crack passwords, so why doesn't he prove it? Probably too scared to even try because he knows he can't do it.

This thread is full of fail. Yes, Atheist Anarchist, you gave your private IP, but don't worry, I can look in the logs and find your public one, no trouble. I feel like I should probably try and hack you just to teach you a lesson...it would certainly be a laugh.
I take it this thread would probably be good enough for any police investigation that you gave me permission to do so.
