Quote:Awesome. This little analogy doesn't offer any kind of answer or clear up the confusion around the trinity in any way shape or form. The three branches of the government are not made up of the same fucking people.
Who said anything about the same people?
Take your time this time and read what was written again;
God is a title and not a name as in Mr.. President, or Doctor.
-or-
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Three distinct separate but equals deities but only One God.

Now that you realize I am saying there are three deities who comprise the one God, and before you assume you are the first person who has asked the next question your going to ask. Read what some of the others asked, and I have already answered.

So you equate god to a title, like President. There is more than one president in the world, yet they do not add up to one president.

Quote:Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
So if God creates the concept or ablity for man to be evil then why do you assume there is need for another detiy to manage it?

Quote:Interesting, so your god exists in hell. The endless eternal void. A void he can never fill. He created the fairytale of "reality" in his own mind as a means of distraction. We're all imaginary. He's trying to ignore the fact that he's truly all alone, surrounded by hell. That's why he punishes. He wants us to taste a little of the suffering, the agony he's endured since before time began.

Intriguing hellgod myth you have there.
Please do explain what you are talking about here. The straw man you have created has illuded my comperhension.

Quote:What if we say spending *any* time with your god was too much? What he is going to do about that huh? What if we say one existence in your deity's diabolical design was one too many? How will he remedy or fix that particular injustice may I ask?
I don't know if He is oblidged to remedy your situation in any way shape or form. If it were me, I'd say, "Too bad so sad welshy, now if you just follow these two Angels they will escort you to a place where you never have to worry about God's injustice again."

Please explain.

Lots of presidents do not add up to form 1 president, so your analogy of god being a title fails - 3 entities with a title adding up to one thing with that title. 3 =/= 1.

It fails in your context, but works as outlined. In that the presidency was only an example of a title. That is all that was being repersented by me. What you are argueing is known as a straw man. Do try and stay on topic, rather than create your own to argue.

You're the one who equated god to a title, like president, so you can fuck off with your accusations of a strawman.

Bingo. Only I would add "human's frail minds just simply don't NEED to understand." I avoid all this apologetic crap because I never ask any annoying questions. My faith is such that I just believe. Period.

Apologetics is an embarrassment to True Christians like me and any Christian who relies on them is a phony Christian of weak faith.

Now you may call this "brainwashed" but I just call it "faith". Toe-mae-toe, Toe-ma-toe, Poe-tae-to, Poe-ta-toe.

You tell me. Its your silly theology. ~.~

Quote:Please do explain what you are talking about here. The straw man you have created has illuded my comperhension.
You said hell is the void of nothing. You assert god existing in the void of nothing before making the universe in Genesis. Therefore, according to your own beliefs, god's in hell. Now its up to you if you think you're mature enough to respond to that but stop pulling "That's a straw man!" accusations out of your arse please.

It makes you look like a complete tool.

Quote:I don't know if He is oblidged to remedy your situation in any way shape or form.
I would say he has to correct the 'error of my existence' if he has an ounce of accountability or responsibility in him.

Quote:If it were me, I'd say, "Too bad so sad welshy, now if you just follow these two Angels they will escort you to a place where you never have to worry about God's injustice again."
1. Wrong. A place is not oblivion. Try again.
2. If that's what you think your god would do then there's no love lost.
3. If that's what you would do, send me to an eternal hell, then you're an arsehole after god's heart and make no mistake. Love is weak and pitiful. Big Grin
You tell me. Its your silly theology. ~.~
I told you he didn't have a deity incharge or ruling hell, yet you insist that He does therefore we are speaking to your understanding of this theology and not a biblical one. So i ask again. If Hell is a void or an absents of God then why God need to assign a deity to manage it?
You said hell is the void of nothing. You assert god existing in the void of nothing before making the universe in Genesis. Therefore, according to your own beliefs, god's in hell.
Big Grin Nice try. But that's a Fail. Before Creation there was nothing Except God. God was in nothingness. Upon Creation God left the nothingness and became the God or creator of all that was created leaving the emptiness to rule His creation.
Now its up to you if you think you're mature enough to respond to that but stop pulling "That's a straw man!" accusations out of your arse please.
When you rewrite my position in such a way to give yourself something to attack, that is the definition of a straw man. If you don't want me identifying them in your work, then stop producing them and stay on topic. Simply address or counter what was said. Stop adding to what was said just so you have something to return.
I would say he has to correct the 'error of my existence' if he has an ounce of accountability or responsibility in him.
That's what Hell is. For those who do not want to exist in what He has created.
If it were me, I'd say, "Too bad so sad welshy, now if you just follow these two Angels they will escort you to a place where you never have to worry about God's injustice again."

1. Wrong. A place is not oblivion. Try again.
Wrong, wrong Who said anything about oblivion? God existed in the void and in some shape or form those who choose it over God will also exist in it.
2. If that's what you think your god would do then there's no love lost.
Another strawman. I clearly stated I do not know what God would do. I said this is what I would do if the choice was left up to me.
3. If that's what you would do, send me to an eternal hell, then you're an arsehole after god's heart and make no mistake. Love is weak and pitiful. Big Grin
Again you were not offered "love." You were offered Agape and refused it. Therefore you will simply be held to whatever choice your heart made in the sum total of this life.
Again if it were me and I were pulling the strings.Wink
