We can cherrypick? Oh wow - I'm off to stone me some mixed-fabric-wearing, public-praying, jewellery-adorned cheeseburger eaters!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Is that supposed to be God's law there?
No, thats the book your religion is based on.

There are verses in the Bible that support a universalist interpretation. I wish anyone convinced of that good luck in convincing other Christians. Eternal torment is a contemptible doctrine, and both Christians and everyone around them wil be better off if it is jettisoned.

You need to learn what scriptures are saying.
The word Hades is the Greek word for hell and nothing more. Peter never intended to put Greek myths into scriptures.
Why are you using a book and verses that are about the sorrows of exile, this has nothing to do with hell, it is a statement about earthly punishment not eternal. You sir are a cherry picker of the most desperately unknowledged.
I'm just curious GC. Did the holy ghost teach you all of this?
You know, embrace pagan ideals and holidays, human sacrifice, non-forgiveness, sunday worship (on the pagan sun-god's day?), fear-mongering, etc.....
You're telling me what I believe, that's laughable, tell me sir what is the original Sabbath commandment. I embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, with respect and love, yes the Holy Spirit is my teacher, when I read scripture I ask for His guidance. If you want to do a comparative let's look at you and the language you are using, your attitude stinks too. Last but not least you can not even defend your position whatever that may be, we don't know you are to much of a coward to tell us.

Jettison the truth, that seems to be the popular thing to do in this day and time. No one wants to face the truth if it does not fit their lives, and truth is truth no matter what one wants to believe, you can not change truth, all you can do is ignore it or call it something it's not.

Oh and no, no its not the end by a long chalk. You've just marked the beginning.
What do you believe then?
Knowing the Bible cannot be taken literally and could be interpreted every which way how do you define your beliefs based upon it?
Couldn't you believe more or less what you want by carefully choosing and manipulating select quotes to mean what you want?

That's what I've said about him, a cherry picker of the first order, he's not smart enough to pick verses remotely related to a subject.
How many times do I have to explain Deut. 21:18-21, this has nothing to do with small children, the children it speaks of are grown (adults) of that time. Just as you are the child of your parents, no matter how old you get, you will always be their child.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You cherry pick too, every theist of every sect thinks they have a tin foil hat communicator with the big guy upstairs. Quoting the bible is as impressive to me as quoting the Koran or Jewish texts.
"You're not reading it right" for any Muslim, Jew, Christian, or any damned religion with a holy text miss that all those books are are books of myth.
When a Christian argues with another Christian, or Christian argues with a Muslim, or a Jew argues with a Christian, I feel like I am at a si fi convention where a Star Wars fan is arguing with a Star Trek fan over their characters quotes and powers.
So you can quote a book, big deal. If I quote Harry Potter does that mean little boys can fly around on brooms?

Hey GC
I do not embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, with respect or love, and the Holy Spirit is nothing more than fantasy bullshit, when I read scripture I do so to understand how and why it has shaped our various cultures and what motivations may have compelled us to adopt these beliefs -which, it bears mention- are generally speaking the beliefs of others. If you want to do a comparative let's look at you and the language you are using, your attitude stinks too. Last but not least you can not even defend your position, though you clearly have no problem telling us what that is, chiefly that a lot of people who disagree with you are going to hell.
How did I do?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm not telling you what you believe, I'm asking what you believe.
Here's a couple of fill in the blank questions:
Yeshua came to save the ________.
God's will is that ___ men be saved.

Because you've shown no ability to have a discussion in a civil manner and you have refused to answer my questions as well.
You continue to assert what I believe from your own delusional mind.
You're basically a tool...
Besides, I already told you I will leave you guessing as to what exactly I believe.
