Olympic games..? Hmm, sounds somewhat familiar..

(I'm not a great fan of watching sports Tongue)
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I liked the opening and closing bits... the stuff in between I ignored.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Oh but the Spice Girls! The entirety of that event was worth it just for those 4 minutes and 45 seconds of girl power.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space--in a police box?!? [Image: TARDIS.gif]

I'm just glad that the American media can finally get back to reporting all of the other useless shit going on in the world.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

1. Lords cricket ground is one of the venues where staff have been affected.
2. A cousin of mine was given exactly that proposition.
This will not qualify as evidence because there is no published data that I know of, on the other hand they are in my personal experience. As with most things, those that liked the Olympics will think it is not true those that don't like it will be inclined to take my word for it. Who is going to investigate? Nobody that likes the british Olympic propaganda. It's like the story of how britain got the thing in the first place. We beat the French, it was not at all that the French decided to pull out was it?

I am not that interested in most sports, but that is not what I am against, and I think people who complain about a little disruption so what. But the the Olympics is just another church, who owns it and who benefits and who pays, is the first question to ask, however pretty it might look.
