From time to time I post on another website that has a religious forum. Just recently, a religious dimwit posted this:

"This morning my sister n law woke me up saying "your mother is sick & needs you to come & pray for her".

I rushed as fast as I could to her house to pray for her. When I arrived I found that my mother had been sitting in a chair crying from headache pain.

My mother has always believed in the healing power of Jesus as I do.
I don't remember ever seeing my mother cry, but she was today.

She said the pain was terrible, so I put my hand on her forehead & prayed for her complete healing.

Within a couple of minutes she was healed. The prayer of faith will save the sick & the Lord will raise them up. AMEN."

Meh. I prefer my migraine pills. I can't boast to be "healed" in two minutes (make it 30 min), but the high you get when the pain subsides is way more awesome

Thanks a lot for that. I could have gone my whole life without knowing there was such thing as a Sean Hannity forum, and now that I do, it seems my only recourse is to consume enough alcohol and ambien to erase all memories of today. I may lose some good ones, but it must be done.

If you read through the thread you'll see some of my responses to this dreck. Of course, I'm getting the usual reaction from the brainwashed nimrods about how questioning this dimwit's beliefs amounts to "disrespect". Here's one such reply I received:

"using this thread, in reality actually stealing it with the same old arguments, with statements against his belief, that question the validity his faith, and belittle his Love, again to me, is utter disrespect for the individual and others who might, in total opposition of your beliefs, delight in his sharing."(sic)

I want to tell this clown that if this guy doesn't want to be "disrespected" he shouldn't be proclaiming his idiotic beliefs on a public forum. But that would get me booted.

If someone, sister or otherwise, wakes me up and tells me that I need to drive to my mother's house because she is so very sick -- well, it better be a hell of a LOT worse than a fucking headache.
