Jesus-fucking-Christ they could wait more than one fucking day, couldn't they?!?!

Quite a Christian, isn't he?

Goes back on his word and goes right back to using the company coffers instead of putting his cash into what he believes in.

Not surprising, really. He was clearly trying to have his cake(appear to have a change of heart towards tolerance) while eating it too(still fund anti-gay organizations).
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

You mean the company that provides jobs for thousands of unskilled workers do that they can feed their families? Watch the Bullshit! episode on WalMart if you want to see the other side of the story.

I know the argument. But I also know the people that are going to inherit the multi-billion dollar empire, they are douche-bags. As I said, it's a personal hatered.

Personal hatred does not give you the right to try and take away the livelihoods of anyone.

Sort of... I can't say I wouldn't be gleefully happy if the Waltons were taken down on some major scandal, but I also fully realize that this is highly unlikely.

At the very least, Wal*Mart could pay a living wage to all of their employees and still run massive profits.

...they do.

Wages are paid according to how much skill is involved in the job, how much people are willing to work for, and any minimum wage laws operating in the country / state of the job. Last I checked, Wal*Mart pays above minimum wage on all positions.

Minimum wage is not something one can raise a family on.

That is irrelevant. Wage is paid to a single person, regardless of their family situation. The jobs that people at Wal*Mart do are low-skilled; they do not merit a high wage. Financing poor families is the responsibility of local government, community, and charity.
