I know what went on in former east germany trust me, i grew up with that stuff ... and i totally agree with you.
But i somehow think that it all just wasn't so easy... maybe this is one of these things one should just try to forget ( how hard that may be) and be thankful that the nightmare is over for the people of former east germany ..

I disagree with you on the "forgetting" part, history has to be known for lessons to be learned.

But eaven if it were the right thing to do.

How should we forget when we actualy have member of parlament (Wagenknecht), who publicly in a pressconference praised:

"Honekers Ideals of Stalinism when confronted with Glasnost and Perestroika"

?

History shows the old German military was limited to cowardly surprise attacks and idiotic leadership. Don't worry, if they were superior they wouldn't need to pre-emptive strike at a time when the enemy poses little threat or hide their fears of other races so they could quietly exterminate small groups of them without backlash of an evenly large force. Once again it was done out of fear, anger and hate. All the qualities of a cowardly fearful soul, no offense to any Germans you just aren't the same people anymore I hope.

So Stanley no need to be afraid. Now I feel like this is a troll post, but I've always hated the idea of Nazis and those who embrace them.

Anyways regardless of who hates who or who attacked who first, were all casualties of war all people are.
