I think it's hilarious; Mila J. started dating the direction shortly before the film started being made, they married after the second one, they had a child after the third. Geeeee it's almost like she's basically a self-insert! Except that's EXACTLY WHAT SHE IS.

Fuck the RE movies, they're garbage. The first one had potential at least and was pretty decent, but every movie after that has been not so much downhill as much as a freefall plummet into the abyss of fail and shit.

The Resident Evil movies would have been 10 times better if they had at least stayed kinda true to the game series.

Yeah... Resident Evil is one of my favourite game series, but I like that the movies are terrible the way they are. If they had stuck to the game material and then been shit, then I would be genuinely disappointed. Due to knowing that they are nonsense, it makes it more acceptable for them to fail. The most recent one was almost unbearable though. Leon S. Kennedy is one of my favourite game characters ever and they butchered his personality in it.

The series just went further and further down the shitter with each movie. Afterlife seemed to pull the series back and then retribution just sucked the life out of it. And that ending, Jesus Christ, what the fuck was that?

And yeah, Anderson wrote Leon as a major douchebag.

Why should they make decent R.E. movies when you guys watch them anyway?

And why did you WATCH Afterlife? OR retribution?? After Extinction I threw my hands up in the air and said "FUCK THIS SHIT I'M DONE." Hell that happened midway through Extinction. Around the time the Mary Sue Self Insert known as Alice started using telekinesis to start controlling fire and shit I checked the fuck out; that was the end. Game over, man. Game over.
