Well, if your final solution to people saying things you don't like is for them to be silenced, then you're not thick skinned by definition.

You know, the sad thing is that an "ask a transsexual" thread could have been a very interesting addition to the forum, but it just turned into a flamewar because Chuck couldn't help acting like an absolute tool.
