Judging by how you said this, I'm assuming you don't mean physically different, correct? Because that's about the only general difference between a black man and a white man. So, if those differences aren't the same as the differences between a man and a woman, what are the differences there that matter?

I took it to mean that the races only differ in skin color, while differences between the sexes are much greater.

Yes, any individual is going to be different from another individual. Even identical twins will have differences from each other.

But any group of people that you group together is going to be different from another group of people that you put into an oppositional camp.
