Just in my lifetime in the little area around where i live I've witnessed beatings, killings and riots based on racial differences.
The violence would probably have occurred at a similar level regardless of skin/culture involved... what changes is in the justifications for the violence.

Well that's just speculation based on no evidence, I could just as easily say, It probably wouldn't have occurred at a similar level. If you take away the justifications for violence then the violence decreases, is that not logical?
It would be illogical to say changes don't change things.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

The evidence is just about every single war, battle, or fight humankind has ever had. To say nothing of vandalism
If you take away justifications for violence, then people will invent new ones, or realize that it's not justifiable and become okay with that.
It would be illogical to say that, but that isn't what we're saying, now is it?

There is much less war than there used to be as global communication and science has become more powerful, we identify more with each other rather than seeing foreign enemies as being evil maniacs.
England for example isn't as divided as it used to be, its unlikely that lancashire will start a bloody war with yorkshire again in my life time, or that england will wage war with scotland or wales or the french or germans. Europe is more united.
The point I'm making is that people can become more united without creating new reasons to start war with one another. The human race is probably doomed to start wars with each other all the time yeh but it doesn't mean nothing can improve with changes. So i think in theory if everyone were the same race I don't think war would change i admit, but on a domestic level i think violence would decrease.

Cyberwarfare.
Nuclear warfare.
North Korea.

Won't it just be fascinating when someone stabs everyone else in the back?

Sure, people can become so. People can also find entirely new things to go to war over (oil). I didn't say nothing improves with changes, but people still feel their emotions regardless of whether they can justify them or not... losing justification for an already present violent outburst does not make it any less a violent outburst.
If everyone were the same 'race', you'd be looking at additional violence resultant from homogeny. I know that if I am ever to find the 7 people identical to me on this planet, I'll probably kill them Or I would, if I expressed my dissatisfaction with them violently.

Yes, like the nuclear arms race. That one's my favorite

I don't think it would make much difference. Most "race" issues are really culture or class issues anyway.
I wouldn't want there to only be one race. That would be terribly boring. I love how diverse we are right now.

Which race issues are you talking about?

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
