Why do reasonable discussions always devolve to such levels?? Is this an internet rule I am unaware of?
Quote:You THINK you've brought rational arguments - but you're wrong. You've brought naked assertions, confirmation bias, and an inability to appreciate alternate viewpoints, amongst other things. This has been explained to you, and your reaction to it has been to reassert your original assertions. Can you provide some sort of evidence for this? RE: Ecstasy

Well, I'm not sure how many more times it can be explained to this doucher. I think Cthulu's recent post summed it up perfectly.
Either way, for those wondering, the hypothetical me didn't take any pills. (March 12, 2013 at 2:08 pm)jstrodel Wrote: Can you provide some sort of evidence for this? It's been provided for you in the numerous threads that you've posted in and failed to appreciate (as I alluded to above). As I've said to you before, I'm done wasting any significant amount of time responding to you. This is the off-topic section, not the debate section. Any kind of discussion can occur here. It has to be neither rational nor an argument. It would have been reasonable to assume that you weren't bigoted until you publicised the above statement. Now it requires carefull observation. Much like when some douche tells you "I'm a grown-ass man!" and you can be fairly certain he's not....
