The price of attonement???
#71
RE: The price of attonement???
I really outta look into it, wife's been laid up after the baby for weeks (and the lead in was brutal too) - and on top of it, the sex festival just went down. I'm starting to feel a little antsy. Truth be told, I'd just get her to pull on it for me.

It's so common for the magically minded to drop some grandiose bullshit casually into a conversation...and then decline to elaborate when it's picked out. But please, rather than explaining that little remark, we'll go with jokes about yanking our dicks...cuz that's what you're doing to me anyway, aint it?

( i need to find tibs a moneyshot smiley to go with the jerk)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I think it's a mild variation of "you're an atheist because you're angry at God". They both achieve the same thing: "na na na na I can't hear you na na na na the Bible said you would act like this na na na na"

It's so much more fun when you're not paranoid that Jesus is watching.

Frankly, I think what some of our local Christian missionaries are missing is some good, solid fucking.

If your fairy tales say one thing about the contents of my experience - and I say another......guess who the authority is between the two?
Didn't i just point out by a long standing standard of man that your 'experiences' were not complete? That you only described 3 of the 4 known expressions of Love?

Don't be so hard on yourself I would say it just mild ignorance mixed with a whole lot of pride. I don't believe you to be incompetent.

No, I do not believe a genuine person would. Maybe you do not understand how I am using the word. A genuine person in this instance literally practices what he/she preaches.

"People totally believed this for a long time, so it must be indicative of your emotional status - no matter what you, the one experiencing that emotion - has to say on the matter." Again, you've failed to demonstrate that there is any love to be seen in scapegoating - and you've spent considerable amounts of time avoiding that as best you can. Regardless of whether or not my experiences are complete, you must make your own case. Did I already tell you to get back to me when you were done fantasizing about me? I'm sure I did.

The changing of testaments is not the issue. You are making it so because you do not want to tackle the fact that god's character does change, thus making your assertion that he is unchangeable utterly false.

If you believe this to be true then you do not understand the God of the bible.

Me: ..And here are my pictures from my trip to the Grand cayon. This place is truly magestic, words are not enough to describe the scale and scope of everything that can be seen.

you: Meh, by the pictures it doesn't look so "grand."

Me: Well, the pictures can only show you what is front of the lens. Being in the physical presence of the cayon is completely different, the landscape goes on and on in every direction, there is almost a sense of being enveloped by the scale of the scenery.

You: meh, I still can't see it, from what you've said nor to the pictures you have. I've never experienced anything like what you are describing, so it can not exist.

Me: Then you have to go, I'll tell you what I will sponser your trip if you simply X/Y/Z. You will be amazed!

You: Meh, no point, because you can't describe the grand caynon in such vivid detail it allows me to experience something I have never experienced before, going there and experiencing it myself will do nothing for me.

Me: That is why I want to help you go there so you can experience it yourself. Why not experience what is in question rather than closing your mind to it before you even know what you are talking about?

You: Your incompentant because you can't sell me on something I never seen, heard, of or experienced, and am afraid to experience so i will simply shut down every effort you put fourth.

Me: That is why I am not going to play that game, but will offer you a ticket to see for yourself if you still want to go. If not then simply move on.

You: I don't want to move on i want to call you names so you can point out to everyone what a d-bag I am.

Me: Done.

you:Jerkoff

RE: The price of attonement???
Lemme fix this up for you,

More accurately........
Quote:Me: ..And here are my pictures from my trip to the Grand cayon. This place is truly magestic, words are not enough to describe the scale and scope of everything that can be seen.
I don't have any pictures, and I am not competent enough to describe the grand canyon to you in words.

Quote:Me: Well, the pictures can only show you what is front of the lens. Being in the physical presence of the cayon is completely different, the landscape goes on and on in every direction, there is almost a sense of being enveloped by the scale of the scenery.
Since I don't have any pictures, I am incapable of showing you anything - and again, I lack the ability to competently describe the scene I'm attempting to communicate to you.

Quote:Me: Then you have to go, I'll tell you what I will sponser your trip if you simply X/Y/Z. You will be amazed!
Unfortunately the place isn't located on any map, no one has ever found it.

Quote:Me: That is why I want to help you go there so you can experience it yourself. Why not experience what is in question rather than closing your mind to it before you even know what you are talking about?
I want to help you experience something, but I have no pictures of it, I cannot describe it, and it is nowhere to be found.

Quote:Me: That is why I am not going to play that game, but will offer you a ticket to see for yourself if you still want to go. If not then simply move on.
I can't find a way to win this game with you, so I'll piss and moan about it, regretful that I even attempted to play - I'd offer you a ticket - but sadly I can't establish that I possess such a ticket, cannot show you such a ticket, and cannot describe such a ticket.

Quote:Me: Done.
Right after this next post...and the next one.,..and the one after that, and.....

Do you plan on turning scapegoating into love at any point? Are you even going to make the attempt? That's all there is, that's all that's required. I still won't believe, but at least something disgusting will have disappeared from this world.

If you do not know where to find Moses in the bible, you are not a very good Christian, are you?
