You proved that an absolute like 'lies are immoral' cannot be a moral absolute. What is your problem here?

That what follows is that Divine Command Theory is an absurd moral system. "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" ~ Aristotle
Divine command cannot constitute a fixed instruction that would cover every situation, or the divine could not be absolutely moral (assuming that there could never be one answer that would always be right for everything).

Divine Command Theory: the moral theory that what God commands is morally right. The mere fact that you are saying DCT cannot constitute a fixed instruction for everything is already going against the very principles by which your Bible is based on. Says you. I say that you misunderstand completely.

I have taken the time to write up exactly what my problem is: http://atheistforums.org/thread-18085.html From this thread alone I can see that you won't even dip your toes into the issue for a second, but maybe the way I've explained it here will produce a proper response from you. The commands God gives come from who He is, not from what He deems right or wrong. So, God's objective morality comes from who He is, this encompasses far more than we can understand, God says " your ways are not my ways and my thoughts are not your thought." In other words, God knows way more than we can begin to understand and His judgement will always be righteous, who is a liar and who is not will be determined by God according to who He is.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
GC, I've responded in the other thread.
