That's a good point, but it assumes that our viewpoint wouldn't change if we were suddenly able to sneeze galaxies into existence and use a white sun as a throat lozenge. A human who becomes a god may no longer have the urge to act human.
If I was granted godhood but kept my humanity, I'd definitely want to be liked, at the very least. So I'd make it rain beer and hail skittles, because the way Yahweh got people to like him doesn't seem as if it would work for real.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
