If you say you don't know who that is, Imma shoot you through the head. With love, man! @ New Guy: welcome, welcome and thrice welcome! I foresee a great future for you here!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Hello and welcome.
Greeting Little Billy.
Due to your loss of faith, poor baby Jesus is crying in his crib you know. Hope that makes you happy. Way to go bub.
Welcome!

Welcome from another former Christian! The orgy is to the left.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.

Firstly, if you want take on hardcore self-righteous people go right ahead, but please don't presume to label me as one of them. Secondly, please don't misrepresent what I say, it's a form of a straw man argument and it infuriates me. I didn't say that the OP wasn't a true Christian, I simply disagreed with their definition of "Evangelical Christian", and provided my clear and concise definition. Finally, please don't call me an idiot, I don't remember showing you that kind of disrespect on here. The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK "That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
Ok mister "Is Watching You". Every force requires an equal and opposing force. You're condescending. Do the math.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Thanks for reading my intro. Not to evade semantic protocol, but I just used those words to convey an overall idea.
