I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs are as family to me, and the loss is never easy.

We let Popeye go this morning

I'm sorry about your dog. I hope your next dog is just as great as this one was.
I'll add my condolences.
Putting down my golden was a hard thing, but it was time - cancer. The vet came to the house; my dog died in my arms.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

I would like to add that this is the best option for anyone who can control when and where a pet is euthanized. For most pets a trip to the vet is not a pleasant experience. Better to bring the vet to your home where your pet's final moments can be in a familiar environment surrounded by their pack as opposed to a place they didn't want to be in the first place.
Save a life. Adopt a greyhound.
I'm sorry for your loss, pappy. I know how hard it is to let them go.
I'm so sorry Pappy! But look at the picture of Popeye, he seems so happy in it. At least you can take some consolation in the fact that you as an owner gave him a wonderful life to be such a happy boy.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I am sorry about what happened, it sucks that I can never do anything about it. Remember to appreciate the past, focus on the present and lift the best parts of it up into the future, oh and: Get a new dog
I know that was a hard thing to do, I've been there myself and no matter how many times it happens it never gets any easier.
Sorry for you loss, for pappy
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

My last dog was a little shit. Okay, sure she was the cutest Boxer-Pit Bull mix, but she was rowdy as hell...and so much fucking fun too. Oh, okay fine. I loved her too.
