You're almost there. Now, reflect on how those sentences might apply to you.

I think that last post of his just cements how incapable Ronny is of serious self reflection. You're barking up the wrong tree, here. Rolleyes

So ten pages to establish that A-Drippy is an idiot and B- Ronny is a catholic idiot - neither of which were in doubt.

Meanwhile, these fuckheads....

Quote: Although church officials were quick to act after the outbreak - including hosting clinics in August where 220 people received immunization shots - and have denied they are against medical care or vaccinations, people familiar with the ministry say there is a pervasive culture that believers should rely on God, not modern medicine, to keep them well.

"To get a vaccine would have been viewed by me and my friends and my peers as an act of fear - that you doubted God would keep you safe, you doubted God would keep you healthy. We simply didn't do it," former church member Amy Arden told The Associated Press.

have actually managed to make measles look like the good guys. Now that's a fucking miracle!

That was more of an insult than advice. Trust me, I have given up trying to reason with rice-a-ronedee.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Quote: He's far from the most vocal proponent of the discredited theory that the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine causes autism, but, between his advocacy of faith healing and his promotion of the vaccine-autism link on his online talk show, he's not exactly urging his flock to get their recommended shots.

Have you ever heard of Sean Faircloth? He wrote a book called Attack of the Theocrats, and part of it exposes the so-called "faith-based healing" phenomenon where parents have been prosecuted under the law for child abuse when they prayed for their childrens' recovery instead of getting them medical attention.

Well, this thread went dead. Gotta love someone running with their tail between their legs at the sight of a (few) valid points..

Disappointing
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Looks to me like you did try the high road for a couple of posts, and then realized it's hard work, and that you're not going to get a good reputation here overnight.

The internet is a rough neigborhood. Complaining that people aren't nice enough to you doesn't get you anything.

An awareness of how what you say will likely sound to us is a tool that can serve you well.

If the thread has jumped the shark, it's probably a good idea to bail. Sometimes the snark DOES get out of hand and get in the way.

Best of luck. I'm rooting for you.

This is all yesterday's news....last week for God's sake!

What's your point? To antagonize me, or just nothing better to do?

I'd just like to add that people who generally get pies in their faces are known as clowns. You might want to let that sink in a little.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
