Power imbalances in relationships are bad- they lead to resentment and worse, scorn.
Sometimes the imbalance can't be corrected, but it can at least be discussed. Having someone who's supposed to love you order you around sounds like something that can, and should be, corrected.

It sounds wonderful to me, actually. He won't do it, though  Like, I would eternally do every household chore if he ordered me to do so, and I wouldn't mind a reward for my obedience and good work now and again
