Atheist clothing

As an atheist, I am not part of a club or organization that I need to identify with. My atheism is only a response to a single claim, that a god exists.

I also don't believe in Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster, and don't feel the need to wear clothing identifying me as disbelievers in those

If the shirt was sufficiently tongue-in-cheek, I'd wear one that proclaimed a aBigFoot-sm or my aLochNessism, or my aTheism. My thing with shirts is it has to amuse me enough to by it. And it has to be reasonably cheap. I won't by a tee shirt if it's more than $10, I just don't wear them often enough (can't wear them to work so they become weekend wear and sleepwear and you can only justify having so many shirts to sleep in.)

This one's pretty good; I'd get it.

I tend to be very outspoken about things I defend. For example, I live in an area where fundies are everywhere and set booths at community events with A.M.E.N propaganda (abortion must end now), anti-gay marriage literature, and the works.

I wear my equality accesories and talk about it every chance I get.

If they pray for me at the office, they did all the time, I remind them of my lack of faith. I like atheist clothing. I love to stick to my guns in a place where everyone else hates 'em. Religion made its way into my son's classroom... I do see the need to say something. It's not just lack of faith for me. It's more than that. It's being annoyed by religion's control in my town.

Good news. I just confronted my entire wardrobe and asked if any of them were theists. None admit to it. Therefore all of my clothing is at least pretending to be atheist.

Phew - that's a relief. The last thing I need is a fundie pair of Y-fronts hanging around.

I tried repping you again, but it just allowed me to update. You're funny!

Congrats Ivy. I too use clothing, caps, jewelry and stickers to share my understanding with my confused neighbors. I'm always amazed how many support step up to compliment me on my opinions.

Sorry for the ghetto image quality — my sister has the DSLR and pods and shit.

This is not all atheist, obviously. I also have a black Minnesota Atheists tee with orange writing from two Halloweens ago.

I personal like this patch. It covers most of the crazies, including in "infidel haters".. I got one, and a sticker with the same image at http://www.EvolveFISH.com

I've never been to Minnesota in my life and I want one of those shirts.
