I did... and then youtube thought I might want to watch the full debate:

Harris lost that debate completely. The foundation for moral behavior is rooted in the very invariant laws governing nature. Those laws have a governor and anchor holding the weaker force back. The strong nuclear force in physics demonstrates a parallel to the same demands of an invariant God. Laws are symmetric and invariable, just as the physical construct holding them in place. You cannot have unity held in place within a chaotic system apart from the force bringing unity and equilibrium to the system. We have learned nothing from quantum mechanics about the ability of the observer unless we also apply those laws above and below. Nothing can rise above its source.

LOL!
Harris was on unfriendly ground.
He did what he should do. He wasn't there to debate. He was there to get his word out.
In the mean time, WLC was "debating", if you call this sort of show a debate...
I can't find someone who wins or loses in this kind of debate...

To StrongWaters: You've been polluting your brain with Deepak Chokra pseudo-science, haven't you?
To pocaracus: Check this "debate" out... It actually does audience interviews before and after!!! The results are at the 1:57:15 mark and are TRULY wonderful! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn0tPRjVBvw

I've been having weird problems with duplicate posts... Managed to fix the one above... but I can't seem to delete this one.

I find myself liking Harris less and less as time goes on. I still like him. He's very eloquent and a powerful rhetorician. However, he has a tendency to be something of an intellectual douche a lot of the time. He spends entirely too much time concentrating on the low hanging fruit, and his opinions tend to be shiny and superficially appealing, yet when examined in a deep way, reveal themselves to be either fundamentally vacuous, trite, or essentially pragmatically impotent. And he remains a man who hasn't reconciled all his beliefs about human nature and religion, resulting in deep fissures in his overall intellectual and moral standpoint. Still, I love to read and listen to him.
"Harris ... joins the prodigious ranks of those whose claim to have transcended philosophy is just an instance of their doing it very badly."

Chess has bishops. Therefore, God exists. Or, Christianity imposed its symbolism on an game invented by non-Christians, the way they are currently imposing their stupid beliefs on physics and quantum theory as demonstrated above.

Listened to it... again... biased audience from the start... but this time for the other side...
Herd mentality leads to the final score... aided by the finer speaking skillz of the Hitch and Stephen Fry.

Do you think it's a coincidence that the bishop is the piece that moves in a crooked line? Aside from the queen.
Also I heard of a version where the piece was called the fool instead.

Not to mention the decidedly tit shaped heads on those things.
