What is your strongest reason for believing atheism is true?

For me it couldn't be more simple then no evidence for god(s).
Or not what i would consider evidence. Also the amount of gods over human history help too.

Atheism itself isn't a stance of being 'true' or 'false'.
It's just a stance that the "other" positions haven't been shown to be true beyond a reasonable doubt.

Poor question Shinobi.
Care to rephrase it?

Being an atheist isn't about proving something true; it's about something not being proven true.

Indeed. An atheist does not have "reasons for believing atheism is true".
Atheists simply do not believe the claims made by theists that their version of god exists.

He mightn't necessarily be a poe, he could've just phrased it poorly.

In answer to the perceived, inartfully-phrased question:
Because atheism is the only approach that doesn't start with a conclusion ("there is a god") and work backward from there. If your starting point is honestly without a conclusion, your impartial, verifiable, demonstrable evidence will never, ever lead you to a belief in any religion.
Atheism is not because it's true. It's because everything else is false.
