The part where you haven't demonstrated that there's a creative mind, or a will, or even a requirement that the (entirely natural, limited) combination of chemical bonds DNA can make have a creator.

Again, you're just asserting things and then trying to jam your god into the gaps in our knowledge. It isn't going to work.

athests can't have it both ways: it's said believe in God/religion from the evolutionary theory evolved to served a useful function in promoting survival by bringing order to communities and existential motivation. currently some 90% are still suffering from that evolutionary delusion while others, some 10%, have evolved further, or have they? if the mind has been reduced to a mere molecular proteins and chemicals lthat whack their way through neural circuitry and determines truth, there wouldn't be a valid objective way to determine what group is correct at this point in time. maybe you guys are just rogue (no fault of your own, nothing you need to feel bad about) and need to get back to your grassroot level.

Yes there fucking would be a way, you goddamn moron (and I feel safe in saying that now that you're resorted to the beginnings of presuppositionalism): it's called reality. You know, the objective reality that exists, and either does or does not feature a god? That reality; the thing is, you haven't provided a single shred of proof for god, nor a mechanism by which one does the things you claim it does, nor even a test one could perform to verify its existence. We have no rational justification for believing in one, and you resorting back to a more primitive time where one was used to fill the gaping holes of ignorance in our knowledge is incredibly telling.

Nothing constructive to bring here. But you know when you see a thread title and a meme springs to mind?

Yeah. Anyway, as to the OP, tell me again why trying to understand the transition from inorganic to organic is impossible but doing so with magic is not. No bible verses please. I'm scripture intolerant.

Grace - you say you understand and love science, so you should have no difficulty answering the following two questions:-

1) what is a null hypothesis
2) what is the null hypothesis in relation to the ORIGIN (not the diversity) of life?

Obviously, this is very simple for someone as well versed in the scientific method as yourself, so please humour a new guy by answering........

The null hypothesis is the default position.
That means there is no established relationship between 2 things.

So the null hypothesis in origins is that God cerated everything.

So you are saying god covered everything in wax? I'm confused. Is that a Protestant tenet or one of those New Age memes?
