You don't need some religion or philosophy to tell you can believe what you want. You can do it all on your own.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.
The only neo-Pagans with which I'm at all familiar are neo-Druids. Harmless, but a little annoying and prone to littering.
Quote:do you still mourn the loss of your favourite pencil? *sigh* Pointy was my best mate. We went everywhere together. I could talk to him about anything. We...umm...*cough* *sob*... Sorry, I can't do this. Boru

It's got a lot of New Agey wooness about it, but aside from that, I do like some of the philosophy. im not really into religion that much but like shinto or the greek philosophers or the native american way of life would be ideal , Again I say ideal because it would be very difficult to live by these principles
I like Wicca too. I flirted with converting when I was younger, because Judaism just wasn't cutting it, but didn't feel any better with it.
As a gardener though, I agree with the living in a nicely cyclical manner throughout the year.
If you want to overcome attachment, I hear there was this guy over 2000 years ago who thinked about it and had some ideas. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gautama_Buddha. For a simpler take on it watch http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/701446...of%20death or any other game of death links or consult a library for a game of death VHS. Probably no DVD's made.
